Three Turtles
Three turtles sitting on a rock,
Pondering over the things they’ve got.
A clean pond for diving and taking a swim,
And much sunlight for them to bask in.
Three turtles don’t know what to do,
So many spectators at the Emperor Valley Zoo.
Admiring their colours- yellow, green and red,
Waiting for all three to poke out their heads.
Three turtles finally decide on their own, By Rachael Frank
To come out of the protective shells they call home.
And capture some fishes among the foliage,
Then snack on lettuce and later some cabbage.

The Flower
I have many parts,
And I am a flower.
My male part is called the stamen,
With filament and anther.
My female part is called the pistil,
And you can clearly see,
It is made up of-
Stigma, style and ovary.
Birds and insects pollinate me,
As well as people too.
My brightly coloured petals,
Attract more than just a few.
My sticky stigma contains pollen grains,
Which travel along my style.
Until they reach my ovary,
And there they stay for a while.
