Book of Study: A Food Chain Story

Carnivores

Carnivores like the lions of the plains of Africa and the tigers of the forests of India were always considered to be somewhat cruel to me. Sharks and killer whales also fell into that category. Now, my thinking and feelings have changed to the point where I have become more understanding. You may ask, "What has caused this new view?"
Well, if you think it is my understanding of how energy is so important to the survival of every living creature. Then your answer is correct. Carnivores are predators. They have no choice but to feed on other consumers for their own survival.

Question:
What are some of the other predators listed in this story?

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

It gives me great pleasure to wish all the fans of the Manti and Andy series a prosperous New Year. Last year was fantastic. Many boys and girls made comments on how much they enjoyed this series of stories. I would like to thank all of you for your tremendous support.

As someone who has a deep concern for the environment, I urge all of you to do all that you can to make our world a safer and better place. Remember our critically endangered animals like the leatherback turtle and the Pawi found in Trinidad and Tobago. All endangered creatures like these deserve a chance  for their continued survival.

Let 2015 be the year when mankind makes a positive step towards caring for the environment.
